About Me

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English), trauma-informed, anti-oppressive doula with a special love for supporting fellow Queer and Trans people. A deep listener, I am committed to honoring your unique desires and preferences, as well as centering humor, joy, and pleasure in my practice. Because I know that systems of power are always acting on our bodies, I pay close attention to the ways in which identity and oppression can inform our reproductive experiences, and I am here to help you advocate for yourself regardless of where or how you choose to give birth.

I was first introduced to birth work while shadowing community midwives in rural El Salvador in 2015. Inspired by their loving and expert care, a year later I decided to train with DONA as a birth and postpartum doula. I then interned at a birth center under the mentorship of Clinical Nurse Midwives and offered volunteer services with the Philadelphia Alliance for Labor Support. In 2018 I had the opportunity to retrain with Ancient Song Doula Services as part of the doula collective at Swarthmore College. After practicing for a year and a half with the Baltimore Doula Project, I relocated to Ithaca, NY and now practice independently in the local area.
